§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will publish in the Official Report a detailed list of all of the persons found guilty of any offence in the 644W recent Poulson bribery and corruption trials; what were their sentences; how much of these sentences was or has been carried out; and how long each of these people were kept in custody helping the police in their investigations.
§ Mr. JohnI refer my hon. Friend to Chapter 2 of the report of the Royal Commission on Standards of Conduct in Public Life—Cmnd. 6524. The assembly of more detailed information would involve disproportionate effort and expense.
