§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will fist the financial assistance provided through his Department in (a) Basildon District Council area and (b) Essex County Council area in the financial years 1975–76 and 1976–77.
§ Mr. CryerNo assistance was made available in the Basildon District Council area in either 1975–76 or 1976–77 nor in the Essex County Council area in 1975–76. However, the financial assistance offered for projects in the Essex County Council area in 1976–77 is confined to Section 8 of the Industry Act 1972 and is as follows:
