§ Mr. Bakerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the estimated cost to the revenue of extending the separate taxation option for husband and wife to include (a) the entire investment 348W income of the wife, (b) the investment income of the wife up to £1,500 per annum and (c) the investment income of the wife up to £4,000 per annum.
