§ Dr. SummerskillThe information requested about the number of Greek and Turkish Cypriots resident in Great Britain is not available. In the 1971 Census about 64,000 persons were recorded as being resident in Great Britain who were born in Cyprus and who had one or both parents born outside the British Isles. The following table gives the number of citizens of Cyprus who were accepted for settlement on arrival in the United Kingdom between July1962 and Sent ember 1976:
