§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will list in the Official Report me numbers of claimants investigated together with the number of allowances withdrawn or reduced for 1975 and 1976; if he will list the type of offence investigated as in the table on page 52 of the report of the Committee on Abuse of Social Security Benefits; and if he will express the number of such claimants as a proportion of all those claiming supplementary benefit;
(2) if he will update the table on page 51 of the report of the Committee of Abuse on Social Security Benefits in the same way as in the answer to the hon. Member for Cornwall, North (Mr. Pardoe) on 24th May 1976; and if he will detail the sum for each benefit which has been fraudulently claimed;
186W(3) if he will list the average cash amounts involved in cases of supplementary benefit fraud for 1970 and each subsequent year;
(4) how many special investigators of supplementary benefit claimants there are; and what this represents as a percentage of all those claiming supplementary benefit for 1970 and each subsequent year;
(5) how many cases of false or fraudulent claims of supplementary benefit were discovered and how many cases were prosecuted in 1970 and each subsequent year.
