§ Mr. OakesYes. The arrangements include provision for safeguarding the salary of teachers who continue in full-time teaching service to which the Burnham salaries documents apply, for compensation payments to staff who are unable to obtain suitable alternative employment and for the secondment of teachers on salary, where appropriate, to attend courses which will equip them for new duties in the education service. The services of a Staff Redeployment Bureau, financed largely by my Department, are available to assist and advise staff seeking other employment.
