§ 34. Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales on what date he sought counsel's opinion on the Porthmadog Cob Tollgate; on what date he received counsel's reply; and what steps have subsequently been taken to make progress with this matter.
§ Mr. Barry JonesCounsel's opinion was originally sought last August 1976 and received in October. Following correspondence with the solicitors for the toll owners further advice was sought in January and received in February. There has been further correspondence and another letter from the solicitors received within the last few days is now being considered.
