§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action will be taken by the United Kingdom to implement paragraph 4 of the Security Council resolution adopted on 14th April 1977 relating to Benin and concerning mercenary activities.
§ Mr. LuardThe Committee of Privy Councillors appointed in February 1976 to consider whether sufficient control exists over the recruitment of United Kingdom citizens for service as mercenaries reported last August. The Committee's recommendations are under active consideration.
