§ Miss Richardsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what percentage of appeals by widows accused under the cohabitation rule before the Supplementary Benefits Tribunal and the National Insurance Local Tribunal, respectively, during the years 1974, 1975 and 1976 were successful; and how many were represented.
§ Mr. Orme, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 27th April 1977; Vol. 930, c. 341], gave the following additional information:
The statistics for the supplementary benefit appeal tribunals do not distinguish between sex and marital status and the figures in the first paragraph of my reply relate to all claimants where cohabitation was in question and not solely to widows.
