§ Mr. HoramI am not aware of any diversions for road works currently affecting the volume of traffic on A412 at Maple Cross. It is hoped to provide the Maple Cross—M4 section of the M25 motorway in the early 1980s, and that should result in a substantial reduction of traffic on the A412 through Maple Cross. It is for Hertfordshire County Council, as local highway authority, to consider whether, in the short term, measures are needed to control traffic on the A412.
