§ Mr. Spearingasked the Minister for the Civil Service what are the existing arrangements for printing the Official Report of the House of Lords; and what changes are planned or expected, particularly those related to the reorganisation of the Parliamentary Press as set out in HC298/77.
§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisTheOfficial Report of the House of Lords is produced by a commercial printer under a contract which is due to end in March 1979. The production arrangements after that date will depend upon the progress of the re-equipment programme and whether all work, including the Official Report of the House of Lords, can be produced economically to meet the required time scale. In any event House of Commons Hansards are expected to be the first items undertaken in the new factory.
