Whether, in line with their decision to make all mandatory grant tuition fees not dependent on a means test, they are proposing to do the same with postgraduate student grants.
§ Lord DONALDSON of KINGSBRIDGEYes. The payment of tuition fees in respect of postgraduate awards made by central Government Departments and Agencies will cease to be subject to a means test from the beginning of the academic year 1977/78.
