§ Mr. Roseasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will take steps to deal with the situation which has arisen from the payment of the 25 per cent. fuel subsidy to claimants of supplementary benefit who have their fuel allowance directly deducted to pay for gas or electricity.
§ Mr. OrmeI can assure my hon. Friend that those supplementary beneficiaries who have benefit deducted at source to pay their fuel bills can still benefit from the electricity discount scheme announced by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy.
