HC Deb 14 March 1977 vol 928 c49W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many of the 230 additional specialist posts for the careers service made available in 1975 have been allocated to Wales; and how many of the further 90 additional such posts will be in Wales.

Mr. Golding

Of the 230 unemployment specialist posts made available in 1975 to strengthen the careers service in those areas most affected by the high level of unemployment 19 were allocated to local authorities in Wales. The 90 additional posts announced on 3rd March 1977 will be allocated after consultations.
