§ Mr. Peters Millsasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will ensure that any regulations brought into effect under the Health and Safety Act 1974 will be such that the expenditure involved will be reasonable.
§ Mr. John GrantBefore approving and implementing any proposals for regulations under this Act put forward by the Health and Safety Commission, the Government will have regard to the nature and seriousness of the risks the regulations are designed to minimise or eliminate, but account will also be taken of any costs that might result.
