§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the Employment Service Agency maintains records based on reports completed by its local officers of those redundancies which having been notified as proposals are finally recorded as due to occur. These show that 68,650 work people were affected by redundancies recorded as due to occur in the period 1st August 1976 to 31st January 1977.
