§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether Army personnel were utilised to control caravan traffic during the Jubilee holiday weekend in the area covered by the Southern Tourist Board; how many men were involved; and if the costs were borne under the heading of training exercises.
§ Mr. Robert C. BrownAs far as I am aware, no Army personnel were employed in this way at the time and in the area in question. If, however, the hon. Member has any particular case in mind and would care to write to me I will of course look into it.
