asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many fully qualified Scottish teachers are currently still in job creation posts.

Mr. Golding,

pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 20th June 1977; Vol. 933, c. 338], gave the following information:

I am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the precise number is not readily available, but it is estimated that about 900 qualified teachers are currently employed on job creation projects in Scotland.
