HC Deb 23 June 1977 vol 933 c541W
Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) what action has so far been taken by his Department to resolve the dispute involving National Union of Journalists journalists at the National Coal Board who are blacking the Westminster Press London Office;

(2) if he will intervene in the dispute involving National Union of Journalists journalists at the National Coal Board who are blacking the Westminster Press London Office.

Mr. Harold Walker

I understand the action being taken by journalists in the National Coal Board Press office is in support of colleagues in the Westminster Press. Intervention would be a matter for the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, which has been in touch with the parties concerned.
