§ Mr. Robert SheldonThe free phone service was introduced for those employers whose PAYE work was being transferred out of London. As stated in my reply on 10th May—[Vol. 931, c.461]—each employer was advised at the time of transfer of his PAYE work out of London and the service was not extended after 1969. New employers are 249W not automatically notified of the free phone number.
