§ Mr. HoramOur Department's guidance is in? Technical Memorandum No. H6/76—Implementation of Bus Priorities". It recommends that cyclists should always be permitted to use a kerb side with—flow bus lane, but that they should be permitted to use contra—flow lanes or bus—only streets only when the hazards at either end of such lanes and streets can be overcome.
