§ Mr. William RodgersIn reply to inquiries, I have explained that the Government's position has not changed since the statement made by the Secretary of State for the Environment on 20th January 1975, though, as I said in answer to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Derby, North (Mr. Whitehead) on 9th March 1977—[Vol. 927, c. 1382–3]—it would be discourteous of us not to look at any proposals about infrastructure which might be made by the EEC.
