§ Mr. Robert Cookeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will arrange to hold an exhibition about the repair of the Great Clock Big Ben.
§ Mr. MarksThe Department has prepared a small display about the clock and the recent repair work. I have arranged for it to be placed in the Upper Waiting Hall from Monday 25th to Friday 29th July. The Lord Great Chamberlain and the Speakers of the two Houses have kindly agreed that it should then be put on public exhibition in Westminster Hall until mid-October.
