Mr. Roseasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will take action to encourage the dispersal of foreign tourists to the English, Scottish and Welsh Regions by means of a concerted policy including publicity, assistance in the provision of travel and accommodation and leisure facilities.
§ Mr. MeacherThis has been Government policy since 1974. We provide selective assistance, through the English, Scottish and Welsh Tourist Boards, to all types of tourism projects in the development areas.
