Mr. Jim Callaghanasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is his Department's estimate of the number of domestic households that are still not linked to the main drainage systems in the county districts of the Greater Manchester Metropolitan County.
§ Mr. MarksI understand from the North West Water Authority that about 5,080 domestic households in the area of the Greater Manchester Metropolitan County are not yet connected to main drainage systems.
