§ Mr. BishopAt the latest available count there were 35,900 holdings in Great Britain on which pigs were being kept. Of this total, 4,268 holdings kept 50 or more breeding pigs. I understand that the Meat and Livestock Commission's Pig Feed Recording Service covers approximately 1,300 pig units.
