Mr. Alan WilliamsThe Kirkby Manufacturing and Engineering Company Ltd. (KME) has received no assistance in the form of grants for specific projects since the payment of £3.9 million. KME, like other manufacturing establishments in the assisted areas, is eligible for regional development grants on its purchases of plant, machinery and buildings. Individual payments of grant of £25,000 or more are published by my Department each quarter in "Trade and Industry".
