§ Mr. MoyleNo official figures of the number of people suffering from Huntington's chorea are available. Estimates vary widely: but most fall within the range of 3,000 to 6,000 people in the United Kingdom suffering from the disease.
The Medical Research Council, from its grant in aid from the Department of Education and Science and also from funds provided by the health departments, is promoting a wide range of basic neurological work which could advance the knowledge of the nature of the disease.
