§ Mr. Michael Spicerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will ensure that no action is taken to reorganise the Milk Marketing Board under the EEC regulations which would prevent the Board's continuing to give its present level of support to the dairy industry.
§ Mr. BishopWe have always recognised that membership of the EEC would entail some changes in our marketing arrangements for a number of commodities. In the case of the milk marketing boards, we shall seek to maintain those functions of the boards which are essential to the orderly marketing of milk.
