§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will list in the Official Report the cost of the M42 Solihull section divided as to: (a) works cost, (b) cost of design supervision, etc., and (c) extraneous costs such as removal of pylons by the Central Electricity Generating Board or other incidental but unavoidable charges.
§ Mr. HoramInformation on the estimated final cost of the Solihull section of the M42 is as follows:

Other costs: (1) Alterations to statutory undertakers' apparatus 1.9 (2) Strengthening of side roads 0.25 £23.194 million has been expended on construction to date. The design and supervision costs exclude the Department's staff costs, which are not charged against individual schemes. The costs for alterations to statutory undertakers' apparatus include £0–3£2 million for moving CEGB pylons.
