§ Mr. Ennals, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 11th February 1977; Vol. 925, c. 865–6], gave the following information:
No. The working group did not complete its full programme of work, which was discontinued when it became evident that staff costs on the contribution side alone would preclude the implementation of any proposals that might be made. I shall be writing to my hon. Friend in reply to his letter on this subject.
