HC Deb 23 February 1977 vol 926 cc579-80W
Mr. Anthony Grant

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what are the reasons, in each case, why funeral charges, intruder alarm systems, soft drinks mixers sold in public houses, hearing aids, and call-out charges were referred to the Price Commission.

Mr. Maclennan

In the case of each of these matters complaints were received which indicated that more information was needed about the make up of the prices and charges concerned, and that an independent examination was necessary.
