§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) further to his Answer to the hon. Member for Aberdeen South, Official Report, 8th February 1977, c. 639, how much money has been paid out by the Supplementary Benefits Com- 446W mission to prevent hardship, in cases where wages have been lost; and on how many occasions this took place;
(2) further to his answer to the hon. Member for Aberdeen South, Official Report, 8th February 1977, c. 639, on how many occasions in the last 12 months for which figures are available recoverable payments made by the Supplementary Benefits Commission in respect of wages lost have been recovered; and what percentage of the whole this represents.
