Mr. Madden

asked the Secretary of State for Industry how many applications for financial assistance have been made to his Department by firms in the Oswestry constituency.

Mr. Cryer

Up to 31st December 1976 eight applications for assistance under Section 7 of the Industry Act 1972 had been received in respect of projects located in the Oswestry constituency.

Mr. Madden

asked the Secretary of State for Industry how many applications for financial assistance have been made to his Department by firms in the Blaby constituency.
