§ Mr. BishopThe United Kingdom is active in the work of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) which provides scientific advice on the state of all the major fish stocks in the North-East Atlantic. The other members of the Community with fishing interests are also members of ICES, and the fishery scientists of all member countries maintain close contact with each other.
