asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he has had any further discussions with registered charities regarding the impact of the National Insurance Surcharge Bill upon their finances; if he is aware of the considerable hardship caused to such charities by the National Insurance Surcharge Bill; if he will undertake to consider ways of alleviating this hardship; and if he will make a statement.
