§ Mr. Lawsonasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish two tables conveying the same basic information as that contained in Tables 4 and 8 of the Bullock Report, Cmnd. Paper No. 6706, but correcting all errors and including, instead of excluding, the self-employed as members of the labour force.
§ Mr. Harold Walker,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 31st January 1977; Vol. 925, c. 69], gave the following information:
Tables 4b and 8b below are the tables requested by the hon. Member; they refer to numbers of employees in employment plus the registered unemployed and the self-employed. Tables 4a and 8a do not include the self-employed, and are the same as tables 4 and 8 of the Bullock Report apart from the correction of two minor errors which have led to a number of amendments.
