§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many Service personnel are to receive the Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal; and how are they to be chosen.
§ Dr. GilbertMedals are expected to be awarded to some 9,000 members of the Armed Forces. Merit and length of service will be among the criteria which will be applied. Some of the medals will be awarded to personnel taking part in the Jubilee ceremonies.
