§ Mr. Maudlingasked the Minister for Overseas Development if he will specify the aid given in 1976 to developing countries on the principle of surplus capacity aid.
§ Mr. JuddThe aid programme helps quite considerably in providing orders to a wide range of British industry which is currently feeling the effects of recession, but I am unable to specify what proportion of our aid in 1976 may have benefited sections of industry where surplus stocks or capacity existed.
