HC Deb 01 February 1977 vol 925 c106W
Mr. Jim Callaghan

asked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) how many motor cyclists have been injured or killed over the previous three years in the county districts of the Greater Manchester metropolitan county;

(2) how many cyclists under the age of: (a) 10 years and (b) 16 years have been injured or killed over the previous three years in the county districts of the Greater Manchester metropolitan county.

Mr. Horam

Statistics of road accidents and casualties in local areas are a matter for the local authority concerned. I suggest that my hon. Friend gets in touch with the Greater Manchester Metropolitan County Council, which is the local highway authority concerned.
