asked the Secretary of State for Defence what part Major Alvaro Ernesto Martinez, the former Salvadorian Ambassador in London, played in the negotiation of recent arms sales to E1 Salvador.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) on what date the contract to supply military vehicles
(2) what assurances have been given to prevent the resale of British military vehicles by El Salvador in the event of them being supplied.

The contracts for the sale of this equipment were concluded in April and June.
They contain a provision requiring the transfer of the vehicles to a third party
