HC Deb 13 December 1977 vol 941 c119W
Mr. David Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for Trade why the number of new registrations for the Business Names Register processed per head of staff during 1976–77 has gone down to 27 from the figure of 35 new registrations processed per head in 1966–67; and whether he has any plans to restore the level of productivity.

Mr. Clinton Davis

As will be seen from my answer on 24th November 1977—[Vol. 939, col. 865–6]—productivity in the Registry of Business Names was significantly higher in 1976–7 than in 1966–7.
