asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total amount of public money committed to the new company operating at Glenfield and Kennedy, Kilmarnock; and what safe-guards the Government have sought for the work force in respect of access to company policy and forward planning

Under Section 7 of the Industry Act 1972 an interest relief grant of just under £1 million payable in three annual instalments, has been offered to the new company, Glen. field & Kennedy (Valves) Ltd. The provision of information about policy and forward planning is a matter for dis. cussion and agreement between the management and the work force.
