asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what is the latest available estimate of the cost of lighting the whole of the A74/M74;

(2) what is his latest available estimate for lighting the whole of the M8 motorway.

There are no plans for lighting these roads, but a very broad estimate of the cost would be £4 million for the A74/M74 and £2 million for the M8.
