§ Mr. MoyleThe present work of the Panel of Assessors for District Nurse Training will continue within the proposed new statutory framework of Central Council and national boards for nurse education and training. The Central Council will have power to create specialist committees for any particular field of nursing at any time, where this is thought desirable, and the position of district nursing within the new structure, including the question of a statutory committee, is currently under consideration by a working group of the Briggs Co-ordinating Committee which is representative of all the major nursing interests.
