§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will list in the Official Report those projects in the United Kingdom for technological development in hydrocarbons, which will attract financial support from EEC funds, and the extent to which subsequent commercial exploitation of such projects will entail surrender of patent rights in return for such support.

- Full scale development of separator process (BP)
- Improvement of an existing tension leg platform (Scott Lithgow)
- Riser pipeline on gravity structures (Shell UK)
- Offshore gas gathering systems (David Brown Vosper)
- Detection of gas on offshore structures (Seiger)
- Flexible high pressure riser unit (Foster Wheeler)
- Enhanced recovery by soluble polymers (BP)
- System for working underwater (Alsthan/Vickers)
- Advanced seabed crawler (Chansitor Investments)
- Pipeline scanning system (Gravatom)
The standard contract entered into by firms with the Commission under this scheme provides, with regard to ownership and exploitation of results, that the knowledge obtained in carrying out the project shall be the property of the firms concerned.
