§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will list in the Official Report all anti-dumping measures, quotas, levies, or other restrictions imposed since 1st January 1976 on imports of steel, stating in each case the country of origin of the imports affected.
§ Mr. MeacherSince 1st January 1976 four provisional charges to anti-dumping duties have been imposed:—
stainless steel bars and billets from Spain: ad valorem 10 per cent.steel reinforcing bars from S. Africa: £38 per tonnesteel light sections from Spain: £31.50 per tonnesteel light sections from Japan: £20 per tonneThe investigation into Spanish stainless steels has now been completed and substantive duties of 8 per cent., 10 per cent. and 16 per cent. ad valorem, according to 200W the Government's devolution proposals for Wales in the Scotland and Wales Bill.
