§ Mr. CarterPayments of £20,883 and £25,449 respectively were made by health and social services boards under Section 164 of the Children and Young Persons Act (Northern Ireland) 1968 and Article 15 of the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 to families in the years 1974–75 and 1975–76. Figures for the average amount payable to each family are not readily available.
