§ Mr. Clinton DavisMr. Jackson is an eminent silk whose qualifications make him fully competent to investigate the affairs of this company. My Department was aware that he had previously advised Mr. Selmes on a matter wholly unconnected with the present inquiry, and did not consider that that fact was relevant, a view which was subsequently endorsed by the Bar Council.
