§ Mr. Alec JonesI do not know to which series of household and dwelling figures the hon. Member is referring. The primary source of data on numbers of households and dwellings in Wales is the census, and relevant records from this source are available back to at least 1921. Estimates of the stock of dwellings in 1971 and subsequent years have been published annually in the Digest of Welsh Statistics, copies of which are available in the Library.
